• 25.00 € for a couple/family
• membership is free for trainees and associations

.You are kindly asked to transfer the fee to the EGALITE bank account

• IBAN : BE84 3101 0420 4459
• BIC (if needed) : BBRUBEBB

using the communication “Member ship fee 2018 (+ if appropriate, name of spouse/partner).

We would also be grateful if you could inform us of any change of e-mail address (in case you retire, change institution, take leave on personal grounds, or other).

The EGALITE Committee works entirely on a voluntary basis and each of us works on EGALITE outside of our working hours. EGALITE is funded only by our members in form of the membership fee and that is why we would kindly ask you to continue supporting us in 2018 with this very symbolic contribution.

Why support EGALITE?
We work throughout the year to address and resolve individual issues that our members are facing (mostly related to wellbeing at work and combating discrimination), to raise awareness about LGBTI+ issues in our institutions and to organise social events.

This year we plan to organise at least five networking drinks, we will seek to organise conferences on LGBTI rights in all EU institutions on the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (17 May), as was the case last year. We will make our participation at the Belgian Pride (19 May) even bigger than last year, with the European Commission officially joining us as our partner.

We will continue to work on resolving issues our members still face, concretely basing ourselves on 10 points which you can read below. We will ask the European Commission to implement these points in their yearly plan on diversity, and will follow up on their implementation. These points are based on the questionnaire we asked you to fill in in October.

We will, of course, remain open to new challenges and remain vigilant to any form of discrimination or homophobia in the workplace, so do not hesitate to contact us.
