Luxembourg Conference: “L’orientation sexuelle et l’identité de genre – une protection lacunaire contre la discrimination ?”
The Committee for Equality and Diversity (COPEC) and the Equality and Diversity Unit teamed up with the University of Luxembourg and Association Transgender Luxembourg to deliver a wide-ranging two-day conference on discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity

The Hague (LIVE WEBSTREAMING) High-level international conference “Joining Forces, Moving Forward; in Europe and beyond”
The Dutch government will host the first high-level international IDAHO conference featuring several national EU equalities ministers, Vice-President of the Commission Viviane Reding, several MEPs and policy-makers. The pinnacle of the conference will be the Fundamental Rights Agency’s presentation of their ground-breaking survey results on the fundamental rights of LGBT people in the EU and Croatia

Online European Parliament communication on the International Day The European Parliament will communicate widely on its own website and on social media (Facebook, Twitter), including information on the work done on LGBT rights by the European Parliament, as well as key results from the FRA study

Strasbourg Information stand on LGBT rights As in previous years, the LGBT Intergroup, the Committee for Equality and Diversity and the Equality and Diversity Unit will hold an information stand featuring documents (resolutions, maps, reports, etc.) on LGBT rights in the work of the EU. Don’t miss the inauguration cocktail!

Brussels Presentation of FRA survey results in LIBE
The Fundamental Rights Agency will present their survey results to the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs during its meeting of 29-30 May. The presentation will be webstreamed
